Possible Side Effects
Terramycin is typically safe and serious side effects should not be expected, but some stinging can occur. Contact your veterinarian immediately if your cat has swelling of the face, itching, or appears to have difficulty breathing—these may be signs of an allergic reaction to Terramycin. Talk to your veterinarian about any other side effects that seem unusual or bothersome to your pet.
Drug & Food Interactions
Before using Terramycin, tell your veterinarian if your pet is using other eye medications, as they could interact with Terramycin. Talk to your veterinarian or pharmacist before giving any additional prescription or over-the-counter medicines.
Precautions
WARNING: Serious, life threatening, hypersensitivity (anaphylactic) reactions have been reported in some cats following application of antibiotic ophthalmic preparations. If your cat has swelling of the face, itching, appears weak, vomits, or has difficulty breathing within 4 hours of application you should discontinue treatment and contact your veterinarian immediately. Note: The use of oxytetracycline and other antibiotics may result in an overgrowth of resistant organisms such as Monilia, staphylococci, and other species of bacteria. If new infections due to nonsensitive bacteria or fungi appear during therapy, appropriate measures should be taken.

Worked like magic! –
My cat has bad allergies and it causes him to keep getting conjunctivitis. Vet bills are getting expensive but this is the exact same thing the vet gives us for him each time he has a flare up and so I love that I can purchase this online without having to pay vet cost all the time. I applied the first dose this morning and his eye is already looking a LOT better. I included a photo and used a bic lighter as a comparison for the size of the product. A little goes a long way though. It is well worth the price.
Just wish it came in larger amt –
This works great for eye irritations and bacteria that can get in your dogs eyes, and may save you from a costly, time consuming vet visit. I do wish it came in bigger amounts because we have bulldogs and their so close to the ground they rub it off and by the time we’ve used it a few days am and pm on our two, it’s gone. But it is nice to be able to just add it on our regular chewy order and not make a trip to the vet. And the price is competitive.
