Serve dry or with some water to increase aroma for your dog. We recommend splitting these daily guidelines into 2 meals. Feeding amounts are guidelines only and may vary based on activity level, health condition, life stage and temperature. It is important to maintain your pet’s body condition for their long-term health. Since Solid Gold pet foods are complete and balanced, additional foods, treats and chews may alter that balance. Be sure to offer fresh, clean water daily.
Transition Instructions
Switching to any new dog food should be a gradual transition over 7 – 10 days. Replace 25% of the current food with Solid Gold for 2 to 3 days, then feed a little more Solid Gold over the next 5 – 7 days until your dog is eating Solid Gold exclusively. This gradual transition will help reduce digestive upsets that may occur due to the change in diet.
High quality kibble for your small dogs –
Been using this kibble for years for all my small dogs from Chihuahua’s to Yorkies to Morkies to terrier mixes and they all love it. Good ingredient list too…check it out for yourself. My dogs have stayed happy and healthy over the years using this food.
Our tiny dog loves this! –
Our smallest dog can’t eat regular sized dry kibble, they’re too big for her tiny mouth. But she likes dry food, and these are perfect, nice and small, and also a good shape that doesn’t roll around her bowl, so it’s easy for her to grab them in her mouth. The flavor must be good too, because she got excited as soon as we opened the bag (and she doesn’t like all dog food). Excellent value!
Five Stars –
Our dogs have always had issues with the different foods we’ve tried and then we switched to holistic and still had some issues but NOW that we use Solid Gold our dogs finally eat well, look great and are able to have normal “movements” without issues. Thank goodness for Solid Gold!
