Transition Instructions
Switching to any new dog food should be a gradual transition over 7 to 10 days. Replace 25% of the current food with Solid Gold pet food for 2 to 3 days, then feed a little more Solid Gold pet food over the next 5 to 7 days until they are eating a Solid Gold formula exclusively. This gradual transition will help reduce any digestive upsets that may occur due to the change in diet.
Great for small dogs –
I have 2 small dogs. They have been on Solid Gold since they were a year old. Great product able to keep their weight at a good healthy level. They love the food. Coats are nice and shinny. Still very active. Vet recommended. Small kibbles very easy for small dog to chew.
Perfect food for old toy breeds with missing teeth –
My two elderly chihuahuas don’t have many teeth left, forcing me to prepare soft foods for them…until now. The tiny, heart shaped kibble is small enough for my 4lb dog to eat, and both she and my 10lb dog love the flavor. They dove into it as soon as it hit there bowls! Thank you for making dry kibble small enough that older toy breeds can finally eat!
