Transition Instructions
We recommend at least a 7 day transition before you begin feeding the new food exclusively. Start by mixing 75% of the old diet with 25% of the new diet on Day 1 and Day 2. On Day 3 and Day 4, mix 50% of the old diet with 50% of the new diet. On Day 5 and Day 6, mix 25% of the old diet with 75% of the new diet. On the 7th day, you can feed the new food exclusively. This allows your pet’s digestive system to smoothly adapt to the new food.
Great kibble!! –
They may look like they do everything together, but when it comes to eating, they take turns….they will grab a mouth full, then carry it to another room to eat it, repeat. I have found if I add a little water to their food, they stay at the bowl and eat…they get excited when I’m putting the food in their bowl! They love Royal Canin!!
Great food for the Fussy Yorkies –
Ive been using Royal Canin Dry Food for my Yorkies for the past 15 years! ( that’s the age of my oldest one) I just don’t worry; my yorkies always have a bowl of Royal Canin dry food available and they nibble on it as they please throughout the day.Yorkies have a funny way to eat and a fussy appetite as well. Royal Canin It is the only brand they like and I trust.
My Yorkies grew up with a beautiful amazing shining full coat, no health problems, and beautiful teeth even as seniors.
As for the main meal of the day, I give them a bowl of the same dry food soaked in water for 30 sec. in the microwave which makes a perfect mix with chicken, meat, sweet potatoes, brown rice, etc…
I highly recommend this brand.
